If you maintain a gun at home, or carry a gun for lawful self defense then this 2 day training course is the most important investment you will ever make. The overwhelming majority of untrained persons have been misled or they are simply mistaken as to when and under what circumstances deadly force is justified in NYS.

Day 1 is a comprehensive dive into NYS PL Art 35: Justification with Ken Cooper. The classroom portion of this course is interactive and enlightening and the educational value is immeasurable. The information imparted and received will serve as a conduit for informed decision making.

Day 2 is where we use scenario based force-on-force exercises (once only reserved for select law enforcement and military units) to place students in replicated real world situations where they will be forced to act reflexively.

The scenario based force-on-force exercises in this course are low intensity to give the students the opportunity to experience real world fight-for-your-life conditions and to respond effectively and appropriately. This low intensity program is used specifically for teaching.

There are no prerequisites for this course other than a NYS pistol license and an open mind. No one needs to be apprehensive about scenario based force-on-force exercises as we don't beat people up, we build them up.

There are no live weapons required or allowed at the training site on day 2. We will provide all of the Simunition training equipment, non-lethal ammunition and weapons.

The only student required equipment for this course is gloves and groin protection. An athletic style cup is adequate.
